The historic building, designed in neo-Renaissance style, has welcomed notable guests throughout its history — including King Haakon VII, Queen Maud and the King of Siam in the early 1900s. From its elegant halls and chandeliers to the harbour views over Vågen, the hotel has long been part of Stavanger’s cultural and business life.
Today the hotel blends its rich heritage with modern comfort, offering 107 individually styled rooms and atmospheric venues such as Salon du Nord and Brasserie Pigalle, where classic hospitality meets contemporary dining and gatherings.
